Customer Makes Enquiry – Appointment Made

You can either give the office a call or contact us via our website or email. We book an appointment in our calendar to visit you and your kitchen. This is an in-depth meeting and therefore would helpful for all interested parties to be present.

We Visit You – Full Consultation

A member of our team will visit and conduct a full consultation and take measurements. Next, we will establish your kitchen requirements, discuss our ideas and explore potential appliances, worktops, lighting, sink, tap and door styles and colours. This is when the magic starts to happen!

Initial Design & Costing - 2nd Consultation Booked

Back at the K4 Kitchens HQ, we get to work designing using ArtiCAD software to enable you to visualise your new kitchen. Then we produce the costing for your kitchen. After this we'll give you a call to book the 2nd consultation in advance.

2nd Meeting – Final Details Agreed

We visit you again to show the completed CAD designs and costings. Of course, any changes are discussed and noted, ready to be updated back at the K4 Kitchens HQ.

Order Emailed for Acceptance

If applicable, any changes discussed at the second appointment are made. Then the full quote, plan and plan key are emailed over via PandaDoc (our online quote signature portal).

Order Processing

All the products listed in the quote will be ordered by the team at HQ. These products are unique and customised to your order. We will then wait to receive some delivery date ETA's from our suppliers so we can contact you to pencil in your kitchen start date... very exciting!

Project Start Date Agreed

One of our team members at HQ will contact you when we have received our manufacturer's delivery date ETA's. At this point we will pencil in your kitchen installation dates into our calendars.

Installation Period

As agreed and set up in our calendars, we will arrive to install your new kitchen. We strive to minimise disruption, whilst delivering the very highest standards of installation and finishing possible.

Customer Handover

After a typical 5* K4 installation, we will have a final clean up and ensure waste collection has taken place. We will then talk through the care of your new kitchen and also our guarantees.

Step 1: Free Consultation

Your journey begins with a free, no-obligation consultation. This is where we get to know you, your space and your ideas.

During this stage, we will:

  • Discuss your style, needs and budget

  • Talk through layout options and practical solutions

  • Answer any questions you may have

  • Arrange a home survey if required

This initial conversation helps us understand exactly what you want from your new kitchen.


Step 2: Home Survey and Measurements

Once you’re ready to move forward, we carry out a detailed survey of your kitchen space.

This includes:

  • Accurate room measurements

  • Checking walls, floors and services

  • Identifying any potential challenges early

  • Confirming layout possibilities

Careful planning at this stage helps avoid surprises later in the project.


Step 3: Kitchen Design and Quotation

Using the measurements and your ideas, we create a tailored kitchen design.

You’ll receive:

  • A clear visual layout of your new kitchen

  • Advice on cabinets, worktops and finishes

  • Appliance and storage suggestions

  • A detailed, itemised quotation

We’ll talk you through every part of the design so you fully understand what’s included.


Step 4: Ordering and Preparation

Once you’re happy with the design and quotation, we schedule your installation and order all required materials.

At this stage:

  • Your kitchen furniture and components are ordered

  • Installation dates are agreed

  • Any preparation work is planned

  • We keep you updated on progress

Everything is organised in advance to ensure a smooth installation.


Step 5: Professional Installation

Our experienced team carries out the installation with care and attention to detail.

Installation typically includes:

  • Removal and disposal of your old kitchen

  • Cabinet and worktop fitting

  • Appliance installation

  • Electrical and plumbing adjustments

  • Finishing touches and final checks

We aim to keep disruption to a minimum while delivering a high-quality finish.


Step 6: Your Finished Kitchen

Once installation is complete, we carry out final checks and make sure everything is exactly as it should be.

You’ll be left with:

  • A fully installed, ready-to-use kitchen

  • A clean, tidy space

  • Advice on care and maintenance

  • Ongoing support if you need it
